I started in education 12 years ago and somehow stumbled into Special Education and have never turned back. I have taught at the high school level in ASD, Intensive Support, and Vocational self-contained classes as well as Learning Strategies and Student Success. All of this has led me to be incredibly passionate for students who need to learn in alternate settings and advocating for them to ensure that they get the best. If there was ever a gap that needed to be filled in the world of resources, it would be for special education students at the secondary level! So many times they need programming that is at the elementary level, but finding age appropriate materials is incredibly challenging and sometimes insulting. I am here to try and help bridge that gap and bring vibrancy to your curriculum at the secondary level!

I am a special education teacher, Mama, and farm wife. I’m always amazed and entertained when I think of my life and the experiences I’ve had up until this point. Being in education, a mother to 2 little humans, and being a part of the agriculture world brings a wide range of adventures, highs, lows, a few wrinkles, and immense gratitude.
